Gimik Night
Not withstanding the rains, I hardheadedly went to ATC after office yesterday. Went there for 3 reasons, actually. (1) to meet with a prospect florist; (2) to canvass for a charcoal painter - for allan&amity's wedding gift; (3) to meet up with abbie, lee and rache - just to hand over ms. aimee's items...Anyways, when I arrived there, I immediately went over to the charcoal painter - however, the quotation she gave me was way over my budget... have to think of another gift na lang siguro...After that, I proceeded to Starbucks to meet up with the florist naman (Ms. Belen)... the meeting lasted a little over an hour din e. She has lots of idea's kasi.. Anyhow, I already closed the deal with her... Though we have yet to do another occular for the would-be-set-up of the chapel, we've finalized the others na.. She'll be using pink roses, carnations and gerberas (with combinations of green and yellow berries and fillers) for the entourage. Roses, berries and mums would be used for the chapel. Loose petals will be scattered sa aisle (pink and white). Got a reasonable rate too, for a "very" out of town venue... =DAnyways, when we were done with the meeting, I met up with Dennis @ Powerbooks, good thing Rache was also there. I was only supposed to hand over the Honda items to her, but then Leelai arrived and we were encouraged to join them na rin. Went to San Mig (still @ ATC), where we saw my boss, Sir Danny, having drinks with some of his friends. As usual, Abbie came late(r).... Had a fun time, though... Nice to catch up with friends... =D

To-Dos
Got a lot of things lined up for me this coming weekend, and I'm so looking forward to it. Saturday will be my confirmation with Tet in the morning (this would include my measurement taking already - whew! diet ito!!!) , a kiddie party in the afternoon, and hopefully, a chance to drop by Blue Petals. After everythings done, we have to drop by my in-laws, for them to see Hans naman... Sunday will be my Divi day! Yahoo! Finally, I got to fit it in my sched... Will be going there with my mom, though. Dennis just doesn't have the patience and the tolerance of the place.. and on me when I go shopping... =P I'm also excited on this trip because I'm gonna make sure I'll be going to all the stores mentioned by my fellow w@wies ... hehehe...I hope everything turns out well... Wish me luck!

World of the Unknown
In my life, I cannot actually say that I do not believe in Xtra Ordinary things, creatures and personas... I actually do believe that I have experienced and made contact with them, in one way or another.Just recently though, my cousin, April, had experienced and sufferred unexplainable illness and pains. All possible laboratory and medical tests have been made and the results were always normal. Our last resort were the "faith healers". We believe that there's nothing to lose should we try and seek their help. One said a certain school mate got jealous of her because of her boyfriend, and maybe because of her being the top of the class (she's a transferee). Another said, that April got a certain persona really mad. That is why it is making her suffer and experience leg pains. That the persona was very hard headed and maybe an apology from April would somehow soften it's curse. I feel so sad for my cuz. She's only 17 and I pity her for experiencing such pains and sufferings. I hope I could do something to help her ease her pais, even just a bit. I also feel sorry for my tita who's really exhausting all possible ways for April to be better. There's actually nowhere else to go.. even the hospitals cannot find anything wrong with her... but just looking at her, you'd know she's in deep pain... Indeed, there are still some areas / things in this world science cannot fully explain and cover... That there is really a "world of the unkown" amongst our world...Maybe Dennis is right, this is the best time for a prayer. God's healing power is all that April needs.... Please help us pray for her fast recovery..Please help us pray.....

Allan & Amity's Wedding
    Allan and Amity's wedding was truly a delightful experience. The day started early for us, as we have to assist amity in her preparations at the Manila Hotel. Dennis, Hans, Inang, Rhoda and I all trooped with Amity and arrived at the hotel at around 11am. Upon arriving, we immediately divided the task, I attended to Boy Mahusay (florist), while Amity checked in and attended to Leony Diaz (hmua). Hans became really restless while we were there, fortunately, he got some sleep at around 12:30 and left us to do the preparations in peace.. hehehe... after all things were done.. (yeah, and i had my hair and makeup done by leony too...hehehe), we all went to PAco Park for the wedding ceremony and reception. I rode with Amity in the bridal car, while the rest of the group took the van. I'd say it was a happy wedding... from the recitation of vows (where Amity and Allan both shouted their "I Dos" at the top of their lungs) up to the reception (where Allan made a self rendition of I want to grow old with you).. Of course, my little boy was also one of the highlights of the event.. (rolling over amity's veil during the pictorial, taking over the microphone where he sang bahay kubo, twinkle twinkle little star, rain rain go away, etc... )Over all, it was a great day, for the newly weds, for the families and friends, for all...So to Amity and Allan, GOOD LUCK & BEST WISHES! =D

Wedding Expo @ NBC
Finally, I was able to convince Dennis to go with me to the Wedding Expo @ the NBC Tent yesterday. We were on our way to Antipolo when I asked him if we could possible pass by the tent. Luckily, being in a good mood, he agreed.We actually had a good time going around and looking for possible suppliers for our wedding. I got 2 actually, both for souvenirs. One was the Mini Wine supplier while the other one was Body/Bath Essentials (which has body gels, lotions, hand gels, etc.)... We also tried out the chocolate foundue towers (still a "want" for me)... I was so overwhelmed with the numerous suppliers that we just moved around and around hehehe.Anyways, the point is, I have finally experienced going to a Wedding Expo and I enjoyed it. =D
