Vinz' Christening
Our baby was finally baptized last Sunday, November 26 at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal (Posadas, Sucat). Ninongs are Ebo Arcelo, Marc Cox, Emman San Luis, and Dennis' mini kumpares. While Ninangs are composed of Eva Concepcion, Gina Navarra, Ces Parumog, Grace Lucena, Kim Lopez, Nina Merto & Tessa Torrevillas. We had the reception at 19 East Bar & Resto (East Service Road, Sucat Muntinlupa) - thanks so much to Dennis friend. Blue Petals Catering provided us a sumptuous lunch which everyone enjoyed. Chocolate Cake was from Aggy's Catering.Over-all, I think our guests enjoyed not only seeing our little big boy but the chance to meet and catch up with old friends and family members...WELCOME TO THE CHRISTIAN WORLD, VINZ!

1 MORE MONTH TO GO!
Already on my 8th month of pregnancy and I'm getting bigger and bigger. Nevertheless, STILL PRETTY excited for the arrival of another little bundle of joy.I think I'm getting enough exercise din naman, brisk walking in the morning, on my way to work and late in the afternoon, on my way home naman. So far, everything's doing great. =P Hans is looking forward playing with baby brother already. And Dennis has a lot of plans for his boys. The little one is getting really COLEet, kicking and moving inside my tummy. Sometimes, it seems as if he's dancing, jumping and egg rolling inside. hehehehe... Though it hurts a little, I wouldn't complain, it just shows that the little one's also very active and excited inside and can't wait to join us out here.See you in a little while my li'l price. =D

Daddy's New Career
Dennis just got hired as the newest Section Head for Dealer Service Development of Nissan Motors Philippines, Inc. (NMPI). And he's really excited. I know for sure he'd be able to succeed in this new endeavor. Though this is entirely a new field for him (coming from a sales background), I know he'd do well. As early as now, he has lots of ideas and suggestions for the improvement of their ongoing operation.Congratulations Dad! We're so proud of you! =)

Our Schoolboy
We've just enrolled Hans in a summer school which will be running for a month. We just wanted him to have interaction with other kids (as he usuall deals with us grownups at home) and to gauge if he's ready for the real thing come June.It actually started last April 19th, but it was only a week after that our school boy was able to go to class because he was sick with fever and flu. Anyhow, he was able to catch up naman. Proofs are his daily dose of stars and very goods in his activity sheets. It really feels great to see your little boy being old enough to be left at school and interact with other kids his age. It makes us really proud talaga. =)
Soon-to-be-Mom Again
The feeling of once again expecting for a baby really excites both Dennis and me. And I must say, it truly excites Hans (soon to be Kuya) as well. He eagerly talks to my tummy, sharing his toys, fave pillow and even his shake shake. He even sings a lullabye for the little one before going to sleep. I'm already on my 25th week and I already had an ultra sound. Seems like the little angel's gonna be another "kulit". Well, better luck next time for our little princess. =P For now, we'll eagerly await for Vince Heinrich Cole.

Very Happy Valentine's Day
It was really a very happy V day for me.Thought it would just pass by - just like the previous years, but then again, Dennis decided to be really romantic this time.I texted him early morning (since he was asleep pa when I left the house) to greet him:"Happy V day Dad! dont forget my flowers ha... mwahmwahmwah".... Until early in the afternoon, I havent received any text from him, so I began to wonder. Then at around 4pm, our lobby receptionist called me up and told me that I have a visitor by the name of Mr. Richard Mulach.Twas only until then that I knew of the surprise. At the lobby, he was waiting for me (in all his handsomeness hehehehe, wearing white polo & hunk shades) - holding out a bouquet of stargazers... I swear, I was trying real hard not to cry. And who wouldn't, after 4 years of being together, it was the first time I actually got a flower from him! hehehehehe. He was always the practical type kasi, prefers to give me what would be useful for me. Grabe, super sarap pala talaga ng feeling na makareceive ng flowers on Vday, no matter how corny it seems. =P Felt like I was the luckiest and most beautiful woman and wife talaga. hehehehe. Had dinner after work at 19 East in Sucat. It was really quite something, and I love every minute of yesterday! =)love you dad...

Dream Come True: Our Wedding Day

Our Supplier's Ratings
Our Wedding was indeed a dream come true for me. Dennis made sure I get everything I wanted. And I can truly say that it was one of the biggest day of our lives. All of our suppliers delivered well on our wedding day. We consider ourselves lucky for pooling together professional and competent suppliers that didn't give us any headaches, before, during and after. Here's my supplier ratings, a must-have of all W@Wies. 10-highest 1-lowest
Chapel: St. Marc's Chapel - National Arts Center, LB Peso Power: Php 2,800.00 (including sound system) Rating: 10 When I saw this in one of the local films I promised myself that no matter what, I'm going to get married there. And so it was. Even after the hardships and all the stress I went through, nasunod ko pa rin ang gusto ko. During my first inquiries kasi, I was told na that they are not allowing Catholic weddings there anymore. But then, I thought that if we were to bring our own priest, okei na. After all, it's gonna be a renewal of vows na lang for us since we were married na 3 years ago. It was only a month before our wedding day that I was made to understand that our wedding will definitely not be registered anywhere should we push through with our original plan. Plus, no priest, friend or not, would be allowed to officiate the wedding. So to make the long story short, a few days before our wedding, we had our "official" church ceremony in my parish in taytay. It is actually a wedding ceremony minus the frills, only our family bore witness to that event. Summing everything up, Dennis and I actually had 3 wedding ceremonies already. 1. Our January 18, 2003 Civil Wedding; 2. Our January 18, 2006 Church Wedding; and 3. Our January 22, 2006 Renewal of Vows. O, diba, talagang wala na kaming balak kumawala sa isa't - isa. One of our sponsors pa nga joked about how Dennis fulfilled the old-saying "Papakasalan kita sa lahat ng simbahan..." hehehehehe It was also a good thing that we had a very beautiful weather on our wedding as the venue is an open space. There was a part na covered pero should it have rained, kawawa yung mga guests.
Preparation: Executive House, National Arts Center LB Peso Power: Php 2,500 (per room) Rating: 8 The place was clean and quiet, medyo hirap lang talagang puntahan, especially at night and talagang malayo sa kabihasnan, so you have to be really prepared and bring everything. It even has a pool, which we were not able to enjoy naman dahil super duper lamig. Plus, it has an entertainment room, with tv, videoke and the like. Maluwag din sya kaya even when everyone got there na in the morning, di naman kami super siksikan. Though definitely not hotel-like as some of the furnitures are old na talaga, tapos there was no water heater pa, so talagang it was BRRRRRR during our very early baths, we really liked the place kasi we were really able to relax and had some peace and quiet moments before our big day.
Flowers: Florabee Peso Power: Php 10,000.00 (chapel decorations and ento's bouquets) Rating: 10 Ms. Belen was referred to me by an officemate who got married recently rin. And for me, I made a good choice in choosing her. I love the flowers, from the bouquets of my entourage to the corsages of our male sponsors. I especially love my bouquet. =) I was not able to pay an early visit to the chapel on the day itself, as I planned to be since medyo nagahol kami sa time. So I left it all up to Ms. Belen. When I arrived there, I was really happy to see how she managed to transform the very simple chapel to a festive and romantic set-up. Everything I requested was followed. Only Gerberas, Roses and Calla Lilies. She even placed additional flower arrangements sa side ng altar para raw hindi masyadong bare. Even my throw-away bouquet looked so pretty that I didn't want to give it away na nga e. hehehehe. but of course, I eventually did. hehehe. After the ceremony, she even brought the flowers to the reception venue to add to the set-up there naman. And that was a good thing for me. Kung ibang supplier kasi yun, after setting it all up, and after paying them, alis na sila. With Ms. Belen, it was different, she brought things to order first before leaving. And with the price, it was definitely an extra mile for her.
HMUA: Leony Diaz Peso Power: Rating: 10 Leony's a very close family friend of my hubby. Eversince, sya ang takbuhan nila during special occassions. And when Dennis was still a bachelor, Leony promised him that he will be the one who'd take care of his bride's hmu. I really looked like a bride on that day. Everyone was very appreciative of how glowing I was - even after I failed to have a facial. hehehehe. And what's more, I didn't look like another person during my wedding day. It was definitely me, only prettier. =)
WEDDING GOWN: Tet Hagape Ento's Gown: Tet Hagape Peso Power: Php 25,000 (bridal gown with accessories, 3 ss, 3 bm, 1moh, 1 mob) Rating: 10 Everyone loved their cocktail dress. The combination of pomelo pink and celadon green was just perfect for our set-up. I especially loved my lightest pink wedding gown. The pink wedding gown is also part of my dream wedding kasi. I've always planned on having a pink gown ever since. hehehe. Di naman masyadong halatang pink ang favorite color ko, diba? =P I loved it so much that I didn't want to take it off anymore, even after the celebration. hehehehe. Everyon loved it as well. The delicate beadworks glistened against the sun, plus the detachable off-shoulder straps that I specifically requested from Tet during my first visits sa kanya. Sa sobrang natuwa ako, di ko na sya dinetach hehehe. At first Tet was afraid that it wouldn't look like a wedding gown because of the color. Baka raw magmuka akong debutante. But we pulled it through. Super light pink sya that You wouldn't actually notice it to be pink unless you get really close or if you'd catch me on a different angle na naha-highlight yung pink color nung gown. Tet's meausurements were very accurate. I was doubtful at first kasi feeling ko I was gaining a lot of weight already during the Christmas season, so talagang minamaya't maya ko sya. As for my ento, there were a few adjustments lang, pero it was all really minor lang. Good thing din, Tet was always accomodating and it was very easy to set appointments with her. Especially since hirap talagang ma-complete ang ento ko.
Wedding Singers: A Friend's Choralemates Peso Power: Php 5,000 (very very discounted price) Rating: 10 Our guests were really awed at how good the duet was. They sang our songs beautifully. And hindi sila mahirap kausap. Siguro nga that's what you get for having friends do things for you. Talagang they'll see to it that everything's good in your most special day. Para rin hindi na sila sobrang ma-hassle, I chose our songs from their list na rin. Yung bridal march na lang talaga ang by special request. "With You" of Martin Nieverra. Lester sang it beautifully that I was trying real hard not to cry as I was walking down the aisle. Pero talagang pinigilan ko, sayang ang make-up. hehehe. Ang ganda-ganda ko pa naman tapos iiyak lang ako. =)
Bridal Car: Honda Accord (c/o Honda) & Mini Mok (Mini Cooper) Peso Power: Free Rating: 9 The Accord was a priviledge for working at Honda. I rode this going to the chapel. The Mini Mok naman was that of Dennis' Mini Cooper friends. Dennis being a mini cooper man, really saw to it that the cars will be one of the highlights of our wedding. There was actually "fun-run" as a number of mini coopers trooped together that early Sunday morning towards Los Banos. Guests were very amazed sa pictorials and church to reception mini parade namin. It was actually fun naman, something unique. hehehehe. I heard we were featured pa sa Mini World magazine - June issue (an international mag) - but we have yet to get a copy of that.
Photo/Video: Paul Vincent Photography Peso Power: Php 42,000 Rating: 9.99 I am a happy Paul Vincent bride! Prenup pa lang super excited na ko. hehehehe. Paul and Ivy are indeed a very good team. Even those who saw the pictures were amazed at how good they were in getting shots and capturing the emotions. Medyo late ko lang nakuha yung CDs ko. Understandable naman since it was really a peak season. Though I was a little surprised to hear that Bing and Leo, the couple who had their wedding a day before us, got their CDs a week after their wedding. While ours came 3 weeks after na. We're actually waiting for the finished products na lang. Though no worries naman ako as I am pretty sure they will do a good job. Sa sobrang confidence ko nga sa services nila Paul and Ivy , I even let them choose my songs na. Di rin naman kasi ako masyadong mapili sa songs e, basta I made bilin na lang na sila na bahala, I just want it my photo/video to be beautiful. hehehehe. plus, dapat andun ang song number ng little boy namin, with his own rendition of "Only You". hehehehehe/
Caterer: Blue Petal's Catering Peso Power: Php 60,000 (170 pax) Rating: 10 A very good supplier as well. Ms. Eres is a very approachable, and everytime we get to talk, talagang super chika. Our guests were very happy with the food. Very courteous and helpful din yung mga waiters nila. We didn't have any problems with them before, during and after the entire reception program. Saka who said you cant eat during your wedding reception? Dennis and I proved that wrong, we ate to our heart's delight. With Dennis getting a second serving pa ha. hehehehehe.. Even our cake tasted great. We didnt stop at one bite, which was supposedly for the cake ceremony lang. Dennis even requested me to give him a big bite of the cake. =) No one believed nga na for that price, they were served a sumptous meal, that everyone really enjoyed. Kakatuwa kasi Dennis' family are good cooks talaga, kaya mahirap ma-please pag dating sa food, they would always find something wrong with the taste, ingredients, etc. (as proven by our frequent eat outs). Pero sa Blue Petals, there were only good comments. It was even likened to the caterer of my sis-in-law (Dennis' sis) which was way more expensive than what we paid Blue Petals (around 50-60% more expensive for the same no. of guests). Kaya I felt really good. And to prove that, we got Blue Petal's service once again during the graduation party of one of Dennis' nephews.
Reception Venue: Bulwagang Sarimanok, NAC, LB Peso Power: Php 6,500 (including sound system) Rating: 8 Since the building is made of wood, very cozy ang feeling inside. Despite not having an airconditioning unit, presko pa rin inside since top of the mountain nga sya, and the sliding doors around the area are open naman. Some would say nga, after looking at the pictures, that it looks like the interiors of a hotel ballroom. Also very ideal to our caterer as it also has a kitchen where they can prepare the food and stuffs.
Invitations: Printed Matter Peso Power: Php 4,000++ Rating: 8 I was very happy with our invitation. Something new talaga sya. I already saw it sa wedding mags before but knowing it would be way above my budget, I decided to settle on something simpler. But when I saw it at Printed Matter's office and realizing that it was not as expensive as I thought it was, go agad ako. Then and there, nagpalay-out ako kila Phoebe and Kerby . Medyo nagpanic lang ako come December when I found out that they would be leaving for their own honeymoon. Nevertheless, they accomodated me naman, even on a Sunday, just to make habol all the corrections, etc. Didn't get the envelopes from them na kasi medyo costly na for me. So I just invented my own packaging for distribution na lang, with the use of punchers, ribbons and tags. Most of my invitees appreciated naman the uniqueness of my invites, kaya winner talaga ang feeling ko (kahit si Dennis lang ang kamukha nung caricatures namin). hehehehe Souvenirs: Wind Chimes / Colognes / Pashmina Shawls / Mini Wines / Mini Cooper die cast Peso Power: Php 3,500 Most of the materials for our souvenirs are from Divi, specifically Tabora - except the mini wines which I ordered from Louis Mclean. The Scents and Blends cologne naman, which served as an additional token to our guests were an advance gift from Dennis' friend. Sobra nga akong natuwa when I saw it e, as it came complete with packaging na. All I did was attach the thank you tags we had Printed Matter made rin together with our invitations.
LCD Projector: Webdevices Peso Power: Php 3,500 Rating: 8 Velvet and I only spoke a few times before the event. We never even met in person. Nevertheless, I had nothing to worry about as I made bilin to her na to coordinate with the caterer na lang kung saan nila iseset up yung projector. I planned on making sulit the rent kaya lang I was not able to prepare a 2nd and even a 3rd set of the AVP. I ended up sticking to the one that was prepared for us by one of our good friends. I simply didnt have the time and energy na. Funny thing was Dennis was making me pilit to show the Pacquiao - Morales fight on screen. Since most of the guests are eagerly awaiting news for the outcome. But I didnt want it, syempre no, mawawala samin ang attention and the "wedding" atmosphere. Good thing Velvet and her crew didnt push through with it na lang, having the same thoughts as mine. Ayaw raw nyang mawala sa amin ang spot light. Hehe. So what we did, after the main program, we opened up a TV downstairs sa may foyer area for those guests na talagang die hard boxing fans. Dun na lang sila nanood. We actually ended going there to watch the final parts of the match. (as shown sa previews naman at paul vincent's site). I didn't recognize Velvet pa nga, so she really had to come up to me and introduce herself. Overall, I really believe that I found a great deal with webdevices. Being an out of town wedding and all, the price was just enough, plus, I didn't have to attend to them na talaga as they made it a point that my AVP will be appreciated by us and the guests.
Resources: Weddings At Work group Peso Power: Priceless Rating: 10+++ I actually owe a lot to this very hyper group. The group became my resource book, my wedding bible. Kaya naman super duper thankful talaga ako sa lahat ng sisters ko dito, who I made kulit during my preparations. Sa sobrang dami ng ideas dito, ako na talaga ang sumusuko. =) Nevertheless, after pooling together the suggestions and unique ideas of every w@wie, my wedding became very unique in my own way na rin. And to think I didnt have a wedding organizer ha. Once again, thanks W@W!

Our 2nd Wedding
Because we really had to get married in a church in order to have it registered, we had our 2nd wedding at St. John the Baptist Parish in Taytay. It is actually the wedding rites already minus the frills, and of course, most of our guests. We only had a pair of sponsors, my parents and hans, to bear witness to this very solemn and private affair. hehehehe...
